Meet The Team

Daniel Andreeff (安哲) created Legation Quarter in 2012 and from 2011-2013 was a Princeton-in-Asia Fellow at China Foreign Affairs University, where he taught international relations, foreign policy, and public speaking. He holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law, an M.P.A. from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and a B.A. in Political Science and History from Northwestern University.

Caroline Jo (赵允志) was a Princeton-in-Asia Fellow at China Foreign Affairs University, where she taught in the English and International Studies department from 2013-2014. She holds a B.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and an MPhil in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge.

Matt DeButts (马德远) was a Princeton-in-Asia Fellow at China Foreign Affairs University, where he taught in the English and International Studies department from 2014-2015. He holds a B.A. in Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought from Amherst College.

Simon Shieh (谢思茂) was a Princeton-in-Asia Fellow at China Foreign Affairs University, where he taught in the English and International Studies department from 2015-2016. He holds a B.A. in English from San Diego State University.

Erwin Li (李博成) was a Princeton-in-Asia Fellow at China Foreign Affairs University, where he taught in the English and International Studies department from 2016-2017. He holds a B.A. in Global Affairs from Yale University.

Brian Bartholomew (毕彬锐) is a Princeton-in-Asia Fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where he researches energy and environmental issues. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
